Malaysian Illegal Food Distributed in Indonesia

Malaysian Illegal FoodCenter for Medicine and Food Control Agency (BPOM) launch as many as 1481 or 621 361 units of food items not memuhi food healthy food criteria. Of this amount, a total of 58.8 percent was illegally imported comestible.

"Much of the marketing authorization and do not have a complete no labels in Indonesian," said Chief BPOM Kustantinah during a press conference at BPOM Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (08/09/2010).

Okezone monitoring the majority of these foods is the production of food of Malaysia. Some products include Nescafe, Milo, Quaker Oat Meal, Caffelate, grain Rice War Immediately, Dumex, Candy Cow, and jelly konnyaku.

Sedangkana for comestible expired reached 36.5 per cent of these findings.

"These findings will be acted upon in accordance with legislation, can be given administrative sanctions to criminal sanctions," he asserted.

Kustantinah added, the data is derived from the simultaneous raids conducted in Indonesia in the H-3 or 7 September. This raid involves the Police, Customs, Public Health Service, and Department of Industry and Trade.
